Workshop Registration / Refund Policy
Wissenzeit International operates under the principle of Uberrima fides (utmost good faith). We strive to cover all potential events related to workshop registrations and cancellations. For any additional inquiries or clarifications, please contact us at admin@wissenzeitinternational.com.
Workshop Registration Policy
A workshop is confirmed once the minimum number of required registrations has been met. Please arrange your travel and accommodation only after receiving a confirmation email for your registration.
Cancellation / Rescheduling
In the event of emergencies such as public health crises or natural disasters, Wissenzeit International reserves the right to reschedule, change the venue, or adjust the workshop as needed. We will always strive to find the best possible solution in such cases.
Wissenzeit International also reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or alter a workshop at any time. In such cases, we will contact registered participants as early as possible. However, Wissenzeit International is not liable for any accommodation, transportation, or additional service costs incurred by participants as a result of cancellations, postponements, or alterations.
Any changes to workshops, including substitutions or alterations, will be posted on our website, and registered participants will be notified promptly.
Delegate Substitution
Substitutions of registered attendees are allowed with prior notice at no additional cost.
Cancellation Refunds
If a workshop is canceled or if a rescheduled workshop is not accepted by a participant, Wissenzeit International will refund the participation fee, with a 10% processing charge deducted.
Payments & Transactions
Online Payments
- Payments without an invoice number will be considered invalid.
- If an online payment fails, please do not retry. Instead, email us at admin@wissenzeitinternational.com with the subject line “UNSUCCESSFUL TRANSACTION” and a screenshot of the error, and we will resolve the issue.
- A 3% surcharge applies to credit card payments.
Payment Deadlines
- Payments should be made by the deadline specified for early bird offers. Any delays will incur the difference between the discounted and full price, plus 3% interest on the outstanding amount.
- Full payment is required within 10 days of workshop confirmation.
Bank Transfers
- A bank charge of US$35.00 applies to payments made via telegraphic transfer.
- Participants will receive a confirmation email along with an official receipt after a successful payment.
Withdrawals & Refunds
Refunds are processed under the following circumstances:
- Emergency Situations: In case of a public health crisis or natural disaster resulting in workshop cancellation, only a 10% administrative fee will be deducted, with the remainder refunded in full.
- 8 Weeks or More in Advance: If notice is given by either Wissenzeit International or the participant at least 8 weeks before the workshop, only a 10% administrative fee will be deducted, and the remainder will be refunded.
- Participant Substitution: A proxy or substitute participant may attend with prior notification at no additional cost.
Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:
- Cancellation by the participant within 21 days before the workshop.
- After the workshop has commenced.
- No-shows or abandonment during the workshop.
